thanx for the video, my personal highlight is the tying-goal against st.louis, my son´s first game at the dome, when giordano scored he absolutely lost his mind

Never knew Gio scored so many tying goals. You can see his confidence go up progressively as the video goes on. I don't think anyone could be a better captain for this team.

I liked seeing the progression of which players were typically on the ice throughout the season. It's refreshing to see the emergence of number 8 start popping up in the highlights once he was moved to 2nd line RW.
Also don't remember him scoring so many tying goals. Definitely a captain who leads by example and does whatever he can to give the team success.
I honestly think we'd see an Oilers style tank job if we had traded Gio with no real replacement. He has the drive to help the team succeed and it rubs off on the other veterans. I'm sure it's also refreshing for any rookies joining the team and makes for an easier adjustment to the NHL.
I absolutely love that move that Gio developed for 2-on-1s where he will go down to block the pass and if the player tries to go around him he swings his stick around to block it.
