Is Jack Hughes a defenseman who was drafted first overall as a centre?

Jacqueline Hughes is a national treasure, and I won't have her name besmirched.

It’s both. Unless this was a joke that went over my head.

He should be 1 or 2.

Maybe it's just because he plays for Buffalo, and there's not a ton of hype around him now compared to other young defenders, but is Dahlin really that good??

I think all 4 guys are basically equal in overall talent. Just Dahlin plays for Buffalo so who cares.

Heiskanen is realistically top 5, probably top 3.

Valimaki should be somewhere between 25 and 40, and is easily the top Flames prospect at this moment.

Its also kind of odd that Perfetti who was in the same cluster of forwards as Zary in that 10-20 projected range is ranked so high.

Perfetti was more in the top 8 tier

Pronman really needs to stick to talking about prospect skillsets, because he's terrible at this.

Clearly wasn't convinced by Yamamoto's NHL numbers last year (almost a PPG); he also says Puljujarvi will "find a way to help an NHL team" given his toolkit. I interpret that to mean it likely won't be with the Oilers.
Puljujarvi is signed to play for the Oilers for the next two years (with RFA status upon expiry), for what it's worth.
