I think the Oilers win this one. It just seems like the Flames treat the BOA like another game and the Oilers like it's their Stanley Cup. That and I don't think the Flames have been winning despite playing pretty sloppy and McDavid will take advantage of the Flames defensive miscues.

There is no doubt this will mean more to the Oil than the Flames, and that’s on top of the scheduling advantages the Oil have for this particular date. Tough for the Oilers not to make this game more important to them, they are in an every game matters scenario as they fight for the last wild card, while the same desperation just won’t be applied to a battle for first in the division. Much easier to play the long game in a division race than a battle fir last playoff spot.

All that said, I actually think we see a strong Flames effort tonight, I think they’ll be up for the game, but we’ll see if the back to back and 3 in 4 scenario catches up with them.

Will have to miss the game due to a friend's birthday party. Will wear red. Go Flames.

Besides a victory, I just want to see the defense tighten up. Pretty rare to see that top pair have an off-night like they did last night, especially Brodie. I expect them to be better.

Would like to see Czarnik in for Eat Bread, the kid needs to sit or get sent down.

Flames need to be ready, this is basically the Stanley Cup for the lowly Oilers. Lucky for them, for the second time this season they play the Flames at home on the second half of a back to back and their 3rd game in 4 nights. They need to send a thank you note to the schedule maker.

11-1 Flames. Fan960 just plays boomers "goala" song on repeat for 3 hours after the game. Multiple jerseys are tossed including one covered in feces and another one that is lit on fire before being tossed.

Johnny outscores McDavid. Neal gets another goal. 5-4 win.

Is it too much to ask for a complete blowout win for the flames tonight? It would be such a glorious thing to have one of those 7 goal games where we flat out stomp the opposition into the ice. It's been done so many times this season, and it would be so, so tasty. It will probably be a squeeze though, as we tend to play down to the Oilers level when facing them.

I get so damn anxious about these games. Were the better team, it’s time to start acting like it. We need to get a damn win in that new building finally.

I see him doing some good things, using his speed to pressure and combined with his talent he is getting chances. I think the adrenaline might be going on him and he is being too quick.

Him and other CGY players need to just stay in the rhythm the team is playing in and then their natural abilities will allow them to execute. It's that rhythm and timing/flow that they need to find and stay in. Some guys like him might get too quick and sometimes guys get too slow and get out of the rhythm.

When CGY plays at their tempo and everyone is on the same beat, guys get to spots at the right time, they exit clean and put passes on the tape and in stride, they finish plays like they've done their entire careers.

Mangiapane just has to stay with that feeling or rhythm that's allowed him execute at a high level to get the NHL and just continue on.

I am hoping Benny, filled with confidence from last night, sets the tone tonight like the first game... where i think he and Tkachuk really set the emotional tone for the game.

do let McIceDance room to wind up; they need to be harassing him all night
