Hanifin, Valimaki, Andersson and Kylington are a very formidable young D group, for sure.

I was worried that Hamonic's absence was related to his child. As a parent who twice dealt with hospital visits for sick kids it was the first thing my mind went to. Sad to hear my intuition was right but happy to hear things are looking up.

I always was a stone cold type of character but having a sick kid really pulls on your heart strings and emotions.

Good, even though the oilers suck it's still better to put your best option in net for the divisional game.

Hamonic's situation is a nightmare as a parent. Doesn't matter how old your kids are, that situation is simply the worst imaginable.

But humans are incredibly resilient too. Really hope for the best and his family and if anything, I'm a bigger fan of his than I was before.

I hear you. I've always been that bottle everything up inside type guy, but now that I have two little girls, I can't deal with these types of situations, or even hear about them, without feeling emotional.
