If you check the Back burner forum its the best place for discussion on the AHL/ECHL prospects.

Probaly not. Not sure we can get the Newspapers mailed to us from there. Postage can be a pain in the 'a' with exchange and all that government stuff they add.

Not so much of a loan as it is being assigned to the ECHL.

I could be wrong but I think since Kansas City doesn't own his contract it's considered a loan. I don't fully understand the nuances of how the NHL, AHL, and ECHL all interact with each other contractually.

Nevermind, looks like it's just Parsons and MacDonald down there now

The Mavericks have sent goalie Ty Rimmer to Greenville for future considerations.

Kansas City signed Rimmer during the offseason as the team's lone goalie signing. Last week the Mavericks received Mason McDonald and Tyler Parsons from the team’s AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat. Both goalies are former second-round selections in the NHL Draft, McDonald in 2014 and Parsons in 2016.

I think this is why the PHPA operates as the union for AHL and ECHL. They must know something about the legalities that we don’t.

This must mean one of Rittich or Gillies is the backup next year.

I just looking it up on Wikipedia and Stockton is owned by CSEC whereas Kansas City has its own owner.

So I suppose that why it's considered a loan since the contract is still owned by CSEC rather than by the ECHL team?
