I was reading the reviews and everyone is tearing them apart but the only thing they complain about is the throne. Seems like such a stupid thing to complain about. Guy is like 50, did the quality of the show really rest on him running around the stage pretending to be 25 again? Duff and Slash running around wasn't enough?

It appears that the AC/DC camp were accurate in what happened, even if they perhaps didn't present it in the best way possible.

I can also see why friends of Johnson may have said what they said, at the time of the decision I'm sure Johnson was sad, mad, confused, and likely said things to those around him "in the moment". In the end good on him for finally taking care of his hearing.

So is anyone else heading to Seattle for this? I'm flying out tomorrow morning. Super excited. Alice in Chains is now scheduled to open.

Don't miss Alice in Chains, still a great band with their new lineup.

My sister saw them in KCMO and had a blast. Said they were really good and she was impressed with Axl's voice compared to what she had heard from a few previous years.

I can't imagine anyone not wanting to see Jerry Cantrell perform in any situation. Such an underrated musician and songwriter. Alice in Chains is not to be missed!

Duff, Jerry and Sean in their hometowns. Might be something specialthat happens that wasn't done at other shows. I could see it.

Is Toronto the only Canadian date? That seems odd for so much hype this reunion is getting.

So that was probably one of the best concerts I've ever seen (biased - I'm a huge GNR fan and have been since I was like 10).

Really was a great show though. Almost wondering if Axl was lip synching for much of it, based on how great he sounded.

I was 7 rows from the stage. I didn't pick up any lip singing, but I was quit drunk and had a few legal Seattlr edibles which were also fantastic in my opinion.
