What's with the odd start time?

I'd put them in Edmonton.

It's a national broadcast. Sportsnet wanted a 6pm start time to satisfy the Eastern viewers, the Flames wanted 7pm so they compromised at 6:30. Someone was talking about it on the Fan yesterday, Wills maybe.

I remember the deflating loss to the Flyers last year.

Let's not repeat that.

Probably going to be a few goals scored in this one. Smith has been better but he still let in a soft goal in his last start in the dome (Predators game) as that early 3rd period goal by Craig Smith is a shot that a goaltender needs to stop.

They have issues for sure.

#15 in GF/GP, but yes, scoring is not the Flyers's strong suit. They don't seem to have one.

I mean, I get it.

That 2nd goal against Nashville was really cringeworthy. He rebounded well immeaditely after that thankfully.

There were so many deflating losses last year, I can’t say one against the flyers stands out to me.

Glad to see Mike Smith playing well, but starting to feel bad for Rittich. He has played welll enough to win but has been getting minimal goal support in his starts. And he was very good against Edmonton.

Big game against a tough opponent with good players. Hoping to see a rejuvenated team with lots of jump tonight. Keep playing great!

Flames busting the Flyers 10 game losing streak.

A lot of pacific teams are getting hot right now. Let's get back in the win column.
