Bookers BBQ crab shack

Ugh, I didn't want make the thread title a negative one, because I have enjoyed this place and wish it well.

Have frequented bookers numerous times throughout the years. Used to have that 'East side' character with surprisingly nice food and atmosphere.

But now I'm having a hard time vouching for it? Just wondering if anyone has other opinions. I know it changed hands, and they've recently done some renovations including moving the bar over. Places run hot and cold of course, but I'm also wondering if it's slated for a condo development or something. Lol

Only times I have ever been is been for work functions with an open bar, so I like the place...

I tend to burn the #### out of my mouth on fried pickles though.

My friend goes there all the time. He would know all the gossip. I didn't think the bar moved.

Food is pretty good. Sunday and Monday it is all you can eat crab or ribs.

I was there for my birthday last weekend. Many king crabs surrendered their lives to our table. I can only hope they avoid the wrath of Davy Jones in the hereafter.
