Penn State and Alabama losing on the same day is too good to be true.

If Trubisky went #2 overall, Burrow definitely is going top 5. QB desperation is just too big in the NFL now. Alabama should probably be out of playoff contention now, a home loss is bad even if LSU is the best team in the country. But I imagine they'll still sneak in.

Geez...Tua looks to be pretty badly injured, some are speculating a dislocated hip.
If so, not only does it end his season, but likely really hurts his draft status.
Tough break for a really likeable guy and someone i wanted to see in the NFL to see if his game translates.

@JimNagy_SB:
Hearing Tua Tagovailoa’s hip injury is serious. Hip fracture. Similar to Bo Jackson’s career-ending injury. Surgery tonight or tomorrow morning. Praying for Tua and his family. 🙏

Truly unfortunate news for the young man...and it was a pretty benign looking play as well.
Quote:
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will miss the remainder of this season after suffering a dislocated right hip Saturday in the 38-7 win over Mississippi State, sources confirmed to ESPN's Chris Low.
Medical officials are continuing to evaluate if the injury also included a fracture, sources said. The Athletic first reported that Tagovailoa had a dislocated hip.

OU made the biggest comeback in their history and are the only team in the CFB era (okay, that's only four years but still) to come back and win against a ranked team after being down by 25 or more points. The second half then ran over 50 plays offensively compared to something like 13 for Baylor so managed to keep their defence off the field while simultaneously wearing down the Baylor D.
I feel awful for Tua. You have to wonder how this will affect his draft position. Listened to a good discussion this morning regarding that and whether it might change his decision to declare for the draft this year (guaranteed prior to the weekend) or go back for his last year of eligibility. A lot might depend on what type of insurance he has to protect him and how he feels about how this injury will affect where he is drafted.

For the 5000th time I just want to say #### you to every “rules” expert ever. It’s annoying to have some jackass act like he knows anything. He’s guessing as much as we are about how the replay booth or ref will rule. Worse yet, I have never, ever seen a time where a rule was so confusing we actually needed his expertise. The on time we almost did, for LSU Bama, the rules “expert” didn’t even know the goddamn rules and had to be corrected by the CBS colour guy.
My 7 year old nephew is smart enough to know what “ball out before knee down” means. I don’t need some jackass on every football broadcast ever explaining it every friggin review.

The Wisconsin kicker just hit a 62 yarder to end the half. By like an inch. WOW!

Justin Herbert is very tall and looks like he's gonna be a bust in the NFL. Welcome to the Broncos Justin.

Alabama and the Big 12 (OU and Baylor) just got a huge boost from the Oregon loss. The PAC12 took a huge hit in terms of playoff implications.
Utah still has a good shot if they win out but if Oregon comes back and wins the conference (which is entirely possible) it will eliminate the PAC12 from playoff contention. I still think Alabama is on the outside looking in regardless, it's likely that OU or Baylor will leapfrog them after the conference championship games, at least in my mind.
Possible flies in the ointment are Wisconsin/Minnesota winning the Big10 or Georgia winning the SEC. That's assuming OSU and LSU would have that game as their only loss.
And this is why college football is awesome:

Ole Miss with an all-time ridiculous loss tonight. Down 21-14 to Miss St with seconds remaining, score TD, pretend to piss like a dog in endzone, get penalized, then miss the XP.
