The one thing that was prevelent in the Empire was its lack of color or colorful markings, the Emperor basically set the direction that all things are the same.
When the Republic fell, the next time we saw the Jedi Cruisers they had been painted Grey. When the Clone Troopers became storm troopers all of the campaign markings on their armor as well as individual touches and etches were removed. The Jedi Star Fighters and ARC-170's that transitioned to the Empire had all their markings removed except for Anakin's Star Fighter which was painted black.

There is a lot to fix in Star Wars this time around, but I really hope they fix Finn. What a mangle of a character they made him. His hero's arc was completely ruined.

I can't imagine trying to wrap up a 9 film saga in one film and tying all of those threads together. I feel like whatever Abrams does here, nobody is gonna be completely satisfied. I don't envy the guy at all. The amount of pressure while making this film must have been insane.
Personally I've enjoyed the new films and I'm excited to see how the conclusion unfolds.

In regards to the advertising, Disney is basically fighting with itself right now. You push this too much and it takes eyes off the launch of Disney+. Frozen II has a different demographic.
Everyone knows Star Wars is coming out. They'll push it hard in December to get seats in the theatre.
Some of those clips are really exciting. I'm stoked for a vehicle chase. Those were signature to the OT. The falcon, trench run and speed bike chases were highlights in their respective episodes.
I also heard there will be a lot more lightsaber action in this one. Hopefully its not all Rey and kylo swinging at each other with no intention to kill.
Every time I see this cavalry charge in space on a star destroyer I just get really, really sad.
I'm still expecting to like this movie, won't let one little detail derail the hype!

I loved the Jet Troopers in the Force Unleased, and playing the Jet Troopers in the first two Battlefield games. You could set up some wicked ambushes where you would hide behind a wall, and then pop up and just kill everyone before they could get a shot off.
