Actually according to capfriendly, no teams in the NHL right now are at the 50 contract limit.
The Coyotes are at 49 after the Kuemper trade because they sent Rieder and Wedgewood to LA for 1 contract.

He was really good for Minnesota early on when they were facing a rash of injuries, I wonder what since happened that they wouldn’t want him on the team anymore. I’d absolutely take a flyer on him, but I bet you a team below us will take him.
