The problem is power. She has beaten some good opponents, but no one who really hits the ball hard outside of Konjuh who is obviously nowhere near Sabalenka's level. Plus, Ostapenko beat her pretty bad earlier this year. Of course, this seems to be a different player.

Well the first set is almost over and it's been 20 minutes, so she doesn't have to keep doing it for long.
12 of 13 first serves in (12 of 15 now) is just unbeatable though.

That game right there is what has to happen for Fernandez to win this - inconsistent Sabalenka first serve.
I thought she had screwed it up by trying to hit a clean winner at 0-40 second serve. No need to try to hit a winner there. Just keep getting into rallies and run Sabalenka around a bit and hang in.
