Leylah saves a couple of set breaks and then breaks to get back on serve at 5-5
Edit: Consolidates the break. Konjuh showing some visible frustration.

Watching Leylah, but I see Felix bageled Donsky in the first set tie-break.

Yikes. Felix just bageled a tie-break against Donskoy, first set 7-6 (7-0). It's like he thinks this match is beneath him, just trying for outright winners on Donskoy's serve rather than getting into a rally and then completely obliterating him when it matters.

A Konjuh double-fault gives Leylah the opening set 7-3 in a tie-break. Really upped her level in the latter part of that set.

Leylah breaks to start set 2 - Konjuh contributed mightily to that break with a couple of double faults.

Another solid return game from Leylah earns her a double break as she is serving at 3-0 in set 2.

Konjuh just continually breaking herself. Keep the foot on the gas.

Felix has just kind of lost his rhythm on his serve, now down a break with Donskoy serving for the second set. Same old story for him / Denis.

Loose service game from Leylah and she gives back one of the breaks.

Nice, Leylah breaks right back and is serving for the match at 5-2. Konjuh with 10 double faults thus far (last one her second serve hit the bottom of the net (in fact, it almost bounced into the net).

Leylah closes out Konjuh 7-6 6-2. What a rally after being in big trouble in the opening set.

Other than Barty, i think and player in the women's draw is susceptible. If Leylah can keep being consistent and fight her way out of trouble she can let the opponent defeat themselves.
Next up is Putintseva or Kanepi. Both are absolute nutcases.

Especially Putintseva - She's a powderkeg that can explode at any moment.

Looking at the women's draw, it'd be pretty neat to see her get through to round 3 to face Osaka. Probably that's it, but it'd be a good watch.
... Looking through the rest of the draw there are some oddities. For example, I didn't realize there were two women named "K. Pliskova" and was baffled as to why Karolina wasn't seeded.
Also Coco Gauff is going to have to face the ghosts of USTA hype past in round 2 as her opponent will be the winner of Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens.

Felix is certainly not playing his best, but Donskoy is tearing the cover off the ball (at least in the last 15-20 minutes that I have been watching).

Okay, this might be the TSN turning point - Excellent return game from Felix to get back on serve in set 3.
Edit: Consolidates the break with a hold to love. The crowd is giving Felix plenty of good vibes as well.

lol - That's 10 consecutive points Felix has won in tie-breaks.
Edit: Streak ends at 11 (like Spinal Tap).
