Huh... I've never seen someone hit four straight let serves before.

I wouldn't say Felix is veering into anti-tennis (or negative tennis or whatever) but he is playing way more cautiously than I'm used to seeing, especially on the return. Getting a lot of balls back and biding his time, waiting for an opportunity. It's working well for him.

Good win, and good hold in the final game after being down 15-30. Was a bit worried for a minute there that he wasn't going to be able to close.
That 4-2 service game was the most dominant thing I've ever seen Felix pull off. Not a chance in hell for Berrettini on any of those points... Just demoralizing.

Way to go Felix, things were looking a little dicey at 15-30 in that final service game, but he hammered three fine serves and a final lob from Berrettini goes long.
Up next, Oikos on Friday.

Just an awful year for Nadal, he clearly wasn't 100% the whole year. Injured in Australia or else he beats Tsitsipas, and he misses two majors and the Olympics. His match against Novak at the French Open you could tell he was rushing through that match and I don't think I've ever seen Nadal rush through anything. I don't have much confidence it's going to get better and next year will be any different , Inglewood pour me something tall and strong

US Open this year......No Wawrinka, No Del Potro, No Federer, No Nadal, No Thiem. 5 former champions out that won 11 titles, I don't know if I've ever seen an easier draw for Novak. People can no longer say Federer got a bunch of titles in a weak era, it was a hell of a lot stronger than the field Novak got to face all year.

Djoker often thrives on beating the odds when things are stacked against him. when the red carpet is rolled out, he can sometimes have the tendency to trip on it. also, he's not very healthy right now either, it's as if all of the Big 3 forgot to drink their stem cell juice this summer.

Well, it certainly opens the door for somebody new to win a grand slam...as long as it isn't Zverev.

I'm particularly offended by the fact that the results of Coco bunting the ball like an inanimate statue are almost indistinguishable from my desperate baseline scramble returns.

Speaking of Zverev.....#### you Rolex for adding him as a spokesperson.
gross, Roger and Rolex were the perfect pair representing class, refinement, sophistication. now I'm DEFINITELY not buying a Rolex this year...join my boycott!
