Shapo will likely face Sebastian Korda in round 2 after a first round bye. No easy match by any measure. Felix likely on a collision course with Casper Ruud in round 3 (at least it's on hard court and not clay).

Watched the Brooksby - Sinner match this afternoon - Brooksby had three set points at 5-6 in the opening set (up love-40) and Sinner held serve and then dominated the tie-break. He then cruised to victory in set 2 as Brooksby hit the wall.

Lloyd Harris just eliminated Brayden Schnur in straight sets. At least Brayden secured himself a pretty good payday for making the main draw.

We're going the distance in Toronto as Paul takes set 2 6-2. Not sure if Vasek has some kind of injury or if he's cramping up, but he certainly isn't moving well out there.
