Obviously a significantly down year for Monahan, but we just learned he was hurt around game 6 of the season and needed surgery again. We really need a healthy Monahan again obviously. It's interesting that despite his injury he really became a great set up man for Gaudreau who became the scorer on that line. Having a consistent RWer would be huge for that duo, Mangi really seems like a good fit if Coleman is likely to start with Tkachuk and Lindholm.
Next up is Hanifin (I have his 19/20 video to release too). Figure a Markstrom video is worthwhile? Otherwise Comeback Wins (only a couple I believe), OT Wins, and Rookies left.

My choice for captain. For many reasons. People call him soft cause he doesn't hit , play dirty, or chirp a bunch. Thats exactly who I want talking to the ref when Johnny is getting slashed for the 17th time.
Monahan gets 40 goals = Flames finish at least 2nd and maybe 1st in the division. Because a bunch of other things will also be going right.
Correct.
His career high is 34 when everything went right.
He would need to be healthy out of the gate and play on the first line, and likely get a career high shooting percentage and Calgary would need to have a lethal power play.
And as Gio says, it would mean Calgary has a great season.
