That can be tough to do when the Division is pretty much sewn up. It's a six point lead with three games in hand.

Game was a joke. Gaudreau got a lucky goal and Tkachuk was less than useless.

It’s only 5.
The games in hand are nice, but we need to win them. We are leaving too many points out there over the past couple weeks.

The officials were really quick with the whistles tonight. They blew it down offside on Toffoli just before the second LA goal, but it was no where near offside. It looked like it was going to be, but Toffoli stopped it from crossing the blue line, but the whistle went anyway. It took the faceoff outside of the zone. Literally seconds after the that faceoff, LA scored.

They also blew it down when when the puck was still alive in the LA crease, and once when it looked like the puck was going out of play, but it didn't (which was probably more irritating to the Kings).

These are small things in the big picture, but they affected the outcome this time.

Whatever.

The Flames have not gone three straight games without recording a point since the second week of January, and that was the only stretch all season. They're fine. It will take an upset of monumental proportions for them to lose the Division with only 15 games left.
