Just yesterday i saw a clip of Harris talking about the economy, the mid east etc. I think there was even something about a ceasefire.
But because she isnt painted orange, slurring and lying about her past 'achievements' (like Obamas Veterans Choice program) that there probably wasnt much mention of it.
I wonder why. Normal media coverage is broken.
I guess that's kind of my point though.. who does the weight fall on to make yourself be heard. I suppose part of it falls on the media ignoring them, but maybe it's more symbiotic than that.
So, Biden is directing the US military to directly land in Gaza and create a port for aid deliveries. This is a micro step away from actually defending a portion or something similar. This is far, far, far beyond anything any other candidate would even consider doing, so can we drop Biden's handling of this issue as an election topic at all?

Absolutely not. It's a good step, but the only reason Biden is doing this is because of the extensive pressure being put on him by young leftists.
Keep protesting and keep holding him accountable.

Biden doing a terrific job with his SOTU speech IMO. He sounds pretty damn sharp, and he's obviously making the overturning of Roe v. Wade and women's reproductive rights a major issue for November. Dude seems pretty fired up.

I couldn't stop watching Mike Johnson's reactions throughout. Was he sleepy, bored, happy, bemused? He's like a guy who doesn't understand English just trying to smile and guess his way through the whole thing.
I actually like that Joe Biden had a nice moment with Republican Tim Burchett on the way into the chambers. One of those quick chats that shows despite their politics, they're probably good for a beer together after work (or so it seems).

Isn’t it sad that this is a notable moment as opposed to the way it should be, and usually was in the past, some of the biggest political foes were great friends. They just disagreed on the path. Now it’s all so hyper partisan that they literally hate and disrespect each other and would rather see the other side fail.
