Love this game, looking forward to the new DLC. It's actually on sale this week as well.
Think my mods folder takes up more hard drive space than the game itself these days. Just can't get enough.
Oh yeah there are so many great mods that let you do just about anything. I love designing efficient intersections and cool little neighborhoods with parks and walking paths.
Such a fun game, though I haven't really played it in a few months. Seeing this thread bumped, makes me want to get back into it. I was trying to recreate Calgary, but having a MacBook and not an actual gaming PC is definitely limiting.
I thought about buying it but there are so many expansions?
Which ones are worth getting?
Industries, Mass Transit, and Parks are my favourite. Campus, Green Life and Natural disasters are probably worth the sale price.
I haven’t tried Sunset Harbor or Airports and they are rated poorly so I would avoid them for now. Hopefully they fix the isssues people have with Airports since it brand new. Concerts seems like a waste too.
They’ve added a ton of content creator packs since I last played. I have no idea if they’re any good.

Basically just a paid modpack. Only reason to buy them is to support the creator but you can get all that stuff for free if you want. Personally just don't find any of them all that interesting

Such a good game. It puts SimCity to so much shame.

I tried to get into Cities Skylines, but I hate having to micromanage traffic, which is like half the game. It's more of a traffic simulator than a city building sim. I wish someone would just copy the formula of SimCity 3000 to the letter with updated graphics, that would be my ultimate city sim game

Sim City 4 Deluxe was my ultimate city builder. I really enjoyed Cities Skylines but I almost found myself overwhelmed with what I was able to do with it.

I can continue my new hobby of having duplicates of my unplayed game backlog across multiple launchers.
Similar to my hobby of buying the new game from my favorite series, load it up, watch the intro and play for 5 minutes to assess the UI, decide its a great game, then never have the time to play it again! So many Steam games at under 1 hour played, that I full intend to play "someday". And yeah, I do it across multiple platforms too!
