Gilles to start. Seeing some of these players for the first time tonight including Gaudreau’s little brother wearing #40 and Kirkland

This Heat team seems to be offensively challenged at least so far tonight.

Shots are 27-13 for Colorado and it’s very indicative of the play so far
231 to go in the second, but Heat on the PP

29-17 shots after two periods.
Hoping to have my son see at least one goal for the Heat in the third

With Stockton getting outplayed it may not be the best game to ask but how has Tuulola looked?. Anybody on Stockton stand out in a good way?.

Stockton Heat 2019/2020 General Discussion
Not really Gillles fault, played okay.
The rest of the team really struggled. Quine with back to back penalties and played the puck like a grenade for most of the game.
Final was 5-2 Colorado (empty net goal with less than 30 seconds)
Heat were 1 for 8 on the PP
Philp and Lomberg with the goals in the 3rd for Stockton

Heat badly outplayed for 50 minutes and anemic on the PP
Had to hear the stat from Colorado that 9 of their regulars were either called up or out with illness tonight
Can’t go to tomorrow nights game, but hopefully the Heat get back in the win column

All 4 goals against Gillies were in the in the "home plate" area, I never watched the game, but thought it would add a tiny bit of context.

One goal was a gaffe by Gilles.
Gilles was out trying to play the puck behind the net, there was a giveaway, he lost his net and the Eagles player shot it towards the net. It hit Gilles, but he wasn’t in position to make a save (standing up & wasn’t tracking the shot). The puck squeezed through his pads and trickled into the net.
Gilles made some really good saves and did not cost the Heat last nights game.

FILTHY PHILP in overtime to win 5-4 over Colorado!
Two goals for Luke Philp.
Justin Kirkland scored in the last minute to time it up.
Gawdin and Robinson with the other markers.
Game summary here.
