Dude I'm completely jealous, When do you turn and become the heel commissioner? Get your crew of thugs, low blows handed out like christmas hams.
But really awesome.
Haha, well I'm a baby face commissioner at the moment.
The set up was Charlie the defending Celtic Roots Champion gave a low blow to the challenger when the ref's back was turned. Then got the 1-2-3. The air was sucked out of the building, the crowed was pissed, and then I got to come out and say "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I told you when I took the job as commissioner that things were changing and I'd be following the letter of the law. I might wear glasses but I'm not blind, I saw that low blow, did you see the low blow? Did you? Yeah, no, this match is to be re-started, ring the bell!!!"
Then the baby face ran hot, hit a pile driver and became new champ. The crowd went wild.
After intermission there was a battle royal where Charlie was the last eliminated. I go in the ring to congratulate the winner. Charlie attacks them from behind, grabs me by the throat blaming me for losing his title, low blows me, lines me up, went up to the top rope and bang.
It was fun. Chest is a little sore as I'm not used to taking any kind of hit, but otherwise I'm fine.

I don't use YouTube to upload that much, but I got my hands on a fan video from the crowd. I have it unlisted on YouTube as it's not my video. When the actual filmed version is released I'll share that too. Hopefully this works.

They should have hauled you out on a stretcher with a neck brace and everything.
I still remember going to a show in Portland back when I was a kid, and Dynamite, was a heel, but he went over the top. He destroyed a face, and then sat on the turnbuckle while they strapped the poor kid on a stretcher. Then as they were hauling him out, Dynamite came off of the top rope and dropped a knee on the kid through the stretcher. It looked like he killed the poor kid, but Dynamite needed a police escort out of the building that night.

By the way, the Broken Skull Sessions with Bubba Ray was really good and really interesting. Especially around his time in ECW, talking about how the business has changed and not for the better. Comparing AEW to ECW. A must watch for all of us old ECW disciples

If they had a stretcher there I'm sure they would have. The referees helped me up, I stumbled and fell trying to get out if the ring. Then the ref's carried me back. I felt like Keyser Söze as we rounded the corner in the back and started to walk on my own.

That was awesome. You weren't expecting him to throw the mic on you, were you? A few inches lower and that could have hurt real bad.

I hope Omega is ready to return by then. Would love to see Omega vs. Ibushi as the headliner. Would also love to see Danielson/Okada, Punk/Naito, MJF/Tanahashi, Miro/Takagi, and Darby/Hiromu. I am sure some triple-man matches and gimmick bouts are on deck too.

Ya I hope it's not all trios matches. I'm sure they wanna get as many people in as possible but there's a few absolute dream matchups they could put together
Sammy turning heel and being able to get Dan Lambert cheered is actually impressive. Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky need more mic time because they have crushed it in the promo last week after the match and last night
Andrade needs a change badly. Hopefully that match is the last of this fued and he can be reset, kinda like Miro needed after his first thing as the best man.
Britt just cut down the entire women's division in a promo.... Umm why?

Yeah the Britt promo was highly weird. Andrade was over rated in WWE and he's over rated here. He's a lower mid card guy at best.
Also rumblings that AEW is worried about Keith Lee's attitude and work ethic.

For Andrade, there's really only one way for him to go, especially with the timing of the Forbidden Door PPV:
He represents Los Ingobernables in AEW. He comes back to the 'Tranquillo' persona.
AEW fans know what that is, they expect to see it, and a launching point with an angle at the PPV that involves LIJ and a 'blessing' from Tetsuya Naito would probably be a fan favorite moment.
The AFO stuff is awful, and needs to be scrapped. There's far more money in an LIJ reunion.
An LIJ AEW faction would be pretty damn sweet. Probably the coolest stable in the last 10 years.
