Mike Smith lost the game.
Any time a starting goalie spots the opposition two absolute rubbish goals against...well, yeah. This happens.
Flames were the better team and they were yet again let down by bottom of the barrel goaltending.

Yeah well Smith is also one of the worst goalies in the game, suppose that balances things out.

Smith was awful and I have been on the give him a chance wagon.
Brodie was even worse handling the puck like a grenade and just playing sloppy.
Everything else actually looked good. All 3 goals against are routine stops so I am confident we win that game 8 times out of 10

F off Sportsnet. The Flames haven't been "loving dangerously ". Every comeback they've had they have dominated the whole game, and just been unlucky early. Living dangerously is lollygagging for two periods and then turning it on.

Team should have won. Missed to many empty nets.
And Smith totally blew it on those 1st 2 goals. If we had average nhl goaltending that's a win.
Hope that BT addresses this if it's the same crap through November

Not gonna win them all. Smith settles down and was fine for the second and third but unfortunately that first period is where he lost them the game. What putrid shameful goaltending to start the game. Was wondering when Smith’s play would start to cost points and it happened tonight.
