Lucic was a goof and deserves a suspension. And he also tanked his team's chances for the game.

Had the Oilers won tonight they would have moved into first in the Pacific. Instead they are outside of the playoffs because of the loss.
But if the Wild continue their comeback and end up winning in regulation, the Oilers would leap frog back into third in the Pacific and a playoff spot. Only 20% done the season obviously, but pretty crazy parity.

I mean, he has Scheuermann's disease. I think, even as a stupid Oiler that's something we don't need to make fun of.

Oiler fans with a ridiculous perspective of Lucic’s actions
Quote:
You’re using “stalking him around the ice” as a comparison to the Moore-Bertuzzi situation? That’s ridiculous. He gave him a hook, and then knocked him down 5 seconds later in a non violent way, then roughed him.
It’s not remotely close to Bertuzzi/Moore

Miller would be the lesser of 2 evils alcohol percentage wise. So it's Gibson's finest or Miller High Life in net. Hopefully it will be Miller Lite.

Final scores and recaps
https://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/sco...p?day=20181106

Well, the whole ubergate fiasco improved Ottawa's drive to win as they crushed the Devils 7-3. The players that were caught on the uber camera combined for 10 points. Mark Stone had 5 points (2g, 3a) and Chabot had 3 points. The Senators were down 2-0 in the 1st period and scored 6 straight goals. All 4 goalies were involved this game as Schneider was pulled after 4 goals and Kinkaid took over, Anderson tweeked a knee or leg so McKenna came in for the final 5 minutes.
The Habs had a 3-1 lead in the 2nd period in MSG and then the Rangers turned it on scoring 4 straight goals to win 5-3. Hayes had 3 assists in the win. The GWG by Pionk was an awesome end to end rush, definitely a highlight reel goal. Zibanejad scored a SHG less than a minute later to ensure the victory. The PK by both teams was excellent, the Habs were 6/6 and the Rangers were 6/7.
Gotta say this Petterson is fun to watch, his goal was compared to Gretzky's OT playoff goal on Vernon. UGH. Good on Detroit winning in the SO and Howard's 40 saves.
Barclay Goodrow (that's not Johnny's brother) scored the GWG for the Sharks just over 7 minutes into the 3rd period. Sorenson with 3 points.
The Blues looked better and may have helped keep Yeo's coaching job. O'Reiley scores his 1st career hat trick as the Blues won 4-1. Chad Johnson played well in net for the win making 38 saves.
It was time to free Wille, the new coach of the Kings gets the win in the battle of LA. Kovalchuk with 3 points and the Kings goalie, Jack Campbell, gets an assist on Kovalchuk's goal with a long stretch pass to Toffoli.

There's one poster over there who is such an obnoxious homer the Oilers could do no wrong.
I am pretty sure it's Bob Stauffer.

Something tells me Mathieu Joseph and the entire league will think twice about delivering cheap shots from behind to the Oilers.

Really? Something tells me that this changes nothing, and players will continue to play the way they always have. Why would this one incident cause such an introspection when it hasn’t happened ever before in decades and decades of goons gooning up a hockey game?

Clip of Joseph getting blown up like a child a thousand times on highlights could possibly be a detractor.
Still wish we got Reeves to deal with players taking liberties on Johnny like this.

Doubt it, Joseph wasn't hurt, and frankly the Oilers gave up a 4 minute powerplay. If I'm a coach of the opposing teams, I tell my players to blast everyone.

He slashes him at centre ice and then goes as fast as he can but cant catch him, so Joseph forechecks behind the net and goes around and to catch him Looch coasts at the hashmarks waiting for him to come around behind the net.
If Joseph had just skated away there is literally nothing Lucic could have done about it.
"Wait....come back! PLease? I'm going to give you the thrashing of a lifetime!"
