FFXVI looks amazing and I can feel the XIV influence all over it. Finally a medieval fantasy game with a serious story instead of this future anime J-pop junk the single player games have been the last decade. I am very excited, this is looking like exactly what I wanted!

Best roguelike I’ve ever played and they even ninja dropped it on the switch.
I had meant to mention the Switch release so thanks for that. I believe they plan to implement cross-save at some point. Supergiant Games is probably my favorite indie developer out there. Bastion, Transistor, Pyre and now Hades are all fantastic games. Beautiful art, fun gameplay and amazing music. I logged a stupid amount of play-time into this game during early access.

I find it odd how they don't have a higher priority to push it out to PS4/Xbox, they said "We'll be considering opportunities to bring Hades to other consoles in the future, but no news at this time"
Edit: Also cross save is shown in the switch but they haven't figured out the logistics of it yet so more of a pipe dream for now.

I haven't played a FF game since 3, or Final Fantasy Tactics I guess, but this one has my interest.
Also, Scavengers has an open testing weekend going on right now, I just signed up and am downloading the game. Going until tomorrow night.

I can't wait to play Doom eternal on game pass, and hopefully Microsoft starts platform exclusivity with all Bethesda games moving forward.
Not sure why platform exclusivity would be a good thing.
I could see them doing "First on Xbox" and "Day one on Gamepass" but still bring the games to Playstation to try to make some of that that full price $$$.
In the end though it does just reinforce Gamepass as the best value in Gaming.

Sorry, I thought I put in there timed console exclusivity.
But yeah, do the whole final Fantasy thing. Only available on PC/Xbox for the first year.
Why would you want this a gamer? Just because of the game pass?
As a gamer that will have both consoles, it won't affect me at all. But it will give Microsoft strong timed exclusives more like Sony. No one is calling out Sony for doing this, some gamers are even praising Sony for it.
Gives them the ability to compete in the "exclusives" market. I put that in quotes because we know those games will be made available to PC as well.

Yeah Sony has been more aggressive in paying for exclusives than Microsoft has been for some time now. Whether they're 1-year timed exclusives, full-on exclusives, DLC exclusives etc etc., Sony has been going crazy on this front.
I love this move from Microsoft's perspective. More competition between Sony and Microsoft = better for gamers in the end.
IF Microsoft goes exclusive with the big hitters, it only means Sony will have to respond with their own big hitters. Plus, if Microsoft does go exclusive they have a great way of selling it to Playstation owners anyways - "Hey, subscribe to GamePass and stream it on XCloud"
If Microsoft were to make future Bethesda games exclusives I wouldn't hold it against them since they own them now. Pull an Epic though and that's another story.

Seems fair to say that most gamers won't own both consoles though. Timed exclusives seems bad for most gamers, especially if it's geared to get people to buy their consoles. I understand making a game exclusive for your console, but timed doesn't seem like something to get excited over or something to encourage. To be fair I don't follow the console wars that closely so I could be missing out on something.
Borderland 3 made their game exclusive for the Epic Games PC store which was dumb and did nothing for the consumer.
