In the NJD vs CAR game, Kincaid makes several close-range stops after the Devils D gives the puck away like 3 times in 20 seconds, but it finally bounces in. Score tied 1-1.

Don is supposed to have said this on HNIC, but it could have just been some comedian’s line

We all know it's technically in the Flames' interest to have Edmonton beat other western teams that are in the PO race. For me, I would rather (a) Edmonton loses and (b) Calgary just wins its way in. But then if Edmonton wins, I can say "that helps the Flames".

Either way I win.

Edmonton winning hurts nobody but Edmonton.

They get a worse draft position, potentially, and they hurt our opponents in the actual playoff race.

Wins all around.

You clearly don’t hate the oilers as much as the next Flames fan.

If the oilers played the Martians for the salvation of the Earth, I would cheer for the Martians.

I'm happy about them winning any games down the stretch against teams the Flames are in competition with for a playoff spot. Now that they are out of the playoff contention I want them to finish with their lottery chances as low as possible. They haven't drafted worth a lick outside the top 5 for the most part so as long as they are on the outside it's a good thing.

I have incredible disdain for that franchise and their insufferable fans. But I look at it from a big picture perspective. If anyone remembers 2015, the Oilers finished 3rd behind the Coyotes and the Sabres and won the McDavid lottery with roughly a 10% chance.

Things are shaping up almost the exact same way now. Sure I could cheer for them to lose 82 straight games, but that’s not realistic. Ultimately, I would prefer not to be haunted by both McDavid and Dahlin. We haven’t won in 7 straight games against the Oilers mostly because of McDavid. Just looking at the big picture here.

The Leafs and Red Wings are tied 0-0 after twenty minutes. The Devils won in extra time.

Any veteran Flames fan knows this franchise rarely 'takes care of its own business' and almost always needs help from other teams down the stretch. E=NG but it is foolish not to hope they beat our competition from here on in.

Sadly the Sharks aren't going away anytime soon. Flames need to get their s*** together and figure out how to play at home if they want to make the dance.

The original six game has been a good one, 2-2 late in the third period. The Panthers are looking good as they are tied 2-2 with the Jets. The Stars are brutal right now, 5-0!

Matthews gets the game winner with about 30 seconds left in the game.

Great pass by Nylander and Matthews with the perfect shot under the bar from a tough angle.

I really feel like a Little Cesar's pizza now.
