Safin doesn't really add anything to me. Put Batherson or someone like that in Safin's spot and I can agree on it

If I thought a 4th round prospect was the difference the first time, I would have voted Yes. Still not a good return for Smith IMO.

so youd agree to the deal if I swap a 4th rounder for another 4th rounder? Isnt that a bit subjective?

I wasn’t the one to say adding a 4th rounder wouldn’t make a difference. Batherson had 7 goals in 7 games in the WJC and is lighting it up in juniors. He looks like he would redraft way higher. I know nothing about Safin except for the fact he’s an Oiler and therefore sucks.

Kostin would be another fella that could go in instead of Safin and I’d vote yes
