Respect the decision but Bevan going leaves a huge hole. It does feel like the Cavs have more depth this year so hopefully we won't miss him as much as I think we will.

I’m a huge Bevan fan as I love big, fast, physical forwards (and he seems like a pretty cool dude). and I was hoping he’s take a big leap this season, but he didn’t score that many open play goals. It was nice to have someone who was nearly automatic on penalties but I think about half his goals were penalties. If it is Bevan or anyone else we need more goals from that position

Hoping he’ll give us another year but putting family first is to be applauded if that’s the decision he makes

If Bevan does in fact leave, the Warschewski signing becomes much more important than it was at the time. I think Warschewski is going to do really well with the service the likes of Camargo, Musse, Daley, etc. provide. I was originally happy to see him brought in to complement/push Bevan as last year our only other real central striker options after Bevan were Mason, who struggled with injuries and really fell off, and Smith-Doyle. You can't argue with Bevan's overall production last year; he tied for the golden boot, after all. But his goals did fall off in the second half of the season and I think this Cavalry team is a great spot for any striker in the league.

I'm pretty comfortable with Warschewski and Shaw as our two striking options. Shaw did drop off quite a bit last year so I hope he has a return to form this season.

The CPL, and Cavalry specifically, is a next man up type of team.
It's rare that top players stay long, sometimes not staying an entire season.
Hopefully Tommy is prepared for that inevitability at every position.

For what it's worth in his time with the Cavs he has 19 goals, 6 of which are from penalties. In the same time Musse has 14 all from open play.

Giantsopoulos to Vancouver official. Interesting career move turning down a starting role for a backup role. Guessing Vancouver were not his first or second choice.

At least there's communication and no hard feelings. I wonder if this is just a case of new kid, combined with being homesick. Canada is extremely far from New Zealand and his family (I should know, I've done the move).

I hope the club welcomes him back with open arms if he ever changes his mind and wants to play again.

Anyone else have issues getting their tickets in the Centrecircle app? That’s always how I’ve accessed mine and 2024 doesn’t want to update.

Apparently Triston Henry is living in the US and is not coming back to Forge. You love to see it.

Oh that is great news! I'm not sure who will be my most hated player in the CPL now, but odds are it's Borges.

My only regret is not watching him lose in the playoffs.

I like it. I'm just glad there's a jersey that isn't green or black.

And I’m pleased not to have another red kit. Lean into the green!

Agreed. I was thinking it would be more of a pure white, but this isn't too bad.

I'd even like to see something crazy like blue someday. It would've been a bit odd with Edmonton around, but for a third jersey, why not? Primary always red, but away and thirds - just mix it up.

The Cavalry marketing folks could make something up about blue skies, blue rivers, etc.

I love this. The only thing I'd do is ditch the collar, but I'll probably grab one anyway.

My brother pointed out that it’s rather ironic that they release a “blizzard” kit and moved the Concacaf games… still, a lovely kit.
