Series Preview: Oilers vs Wild
Edmonton Oilers: 47-27-8, 214 GF, 193 GA, 18.15% PP, 82.87% PK
Defeated Blues 4-1 in round 1
Minnesota Wild: 41-26-15, 231 GF, 201 GA, 17.71% PP, 85.09% PK
Defeated Sharks 4-2 in round 1
The Oilers were happy with the way they played against the Blues in round 1, putting up tons of shots every game and only lost one game, which was in double OT. Jordie Benn is now healthy and the Oilers come into round 2 with no injuries. Led by William Karlsson and Jakob Silfverberg in round 1, the Oilers look to continue their success against a strong team.
When asked by the media, gm savardandjokinen said this about the upcoming series. "The Wild are a very deep team. They got a top tier goaltender, some of the best defensemen in the league, and some of the best forwards in the league. On paper, they're stacked. We need to be firing on all cylinders if we're going to beat them."
Oilers will start game 1 with
Panarin-Zibanejad-Teravainen
Silfverberg-Karlsson-Shaw
Bertuzzi-Horvat-Mantha
Beauvillier-White-Greenway
Extras: McGinn, Bratt, Kempe
Parayko-Lindholm
Schmidt-Chara
Klingberg-Benn
Extras: Edmundson, Girard

Good luck to Jiri and the Wild. Gonna be a good series.
