Housley deserves the win due to on-ice performance, but I'll give a vote for Joel Bouchard, as I remember him to be really funny interview back in the Young Gun days.

I went Housely ...
Had some consideration for Sarich for longevity (close to Housley though), and Houston because he was a force, but just didn't play enough time in Calgary.

yeah I suppose its Housley here, I was still quite a Sabres fan when he was breaking in and thats where I associate him, certainly his stints with the Flames were part of a time that just wasn't that memorable to me for a variety of reasons, but he is a HOFer and put in his time here
Sarich I suppose (even if just for the hit) and as Bingo points out Ken Houston for his total Flames body of work standout
for some reason I also recall Terry Johnson, of the Mullen trade and 86 cup run, although I don't blame you for not making him a choice

I voted Ken Houston - played 5 seasons in Atlanta before move to Calgary. No one in the NHL wanted to fight him.

I voted for Housley as outside of Fleury he was one of a very small handful of players worth the price of admission in the lean years of the mid to late 90's.

Housley 238 points in 328 games as a Flame. Crazy numbers considering how bad the Flames sucked those years.
And a HOFer.

There were two bottom end stalwarts in Nattress and Sarich vs. the high end offense and questionable defense of Housley and Wideman.
I went Housley because when he was on he was an elite offensive weapon and had a significant tenure over some very lean years.

Not a Housley fan...
Hated his helmet. Hated the era of the Flames. I know he wasn't happy to be here at the time (he was in my neighbourhood as a child)...
So Sarich gets my vote, the Hit alone is more memorable than anything Housley did

Housley will easily win (as he should), but I absolutely loved Sarich.

I watched Housley play and a bit of Ric Natress. It's difficult for me between these two players. If you look at the stats line for Housley he looks like an obvious choice, however he didn't really play defense but rather a more hybrid rover in his style of play. I recall when the Flames re-acquired him there was questions lobbed in from the media about him being a defensive liability. Flames brass in response acknowledged that he was one dimensional, but the dimension he provided (Offense) was what the Flames were most lacking.
Natress was the absolute other side of the coin. He provided years of dependable D service, but may have had the advantage of playing for a perennial Stanley Cup caliber team.
Hard to argue with Housley's stats though.

Voted for Housley, but Ric Nattress is a favourite of mine.

Voted for Housley. Hahaha, I almost forgot about Stuart’s brief tenure. I was pissed about the trade and at the same time, I had always like Stuart and was excited to see him here. I was sad it didn’t work out but I get the constraints he had from his personal life (in terms of where he could play).

That's still the best trade announcement in Flames history.
Calgary just comes back to tie the Oilers erasing a 4-1 lead in the process. I'm in the car with my dad in bumper to bumper traffic leaving the Stampede Grounds when the radio goes to a press conference.
The video is great because Bob Johnson at the table won't stop fidgeting with a tin ash tray.
But they way Fletcher announce it was torture.
"going to the Blues winger Gino Cavalini, defenseman Charlie Bourgeois, and winger Eddy Beers. Coming to Calgary defenseman Rik Wilson, defenseman Terry Johnson ... "
At this point I'm thinking we got trashed
"... and winger Joe Mullen"
Drop the mic!
