Glitch in the Matrix- Flames edition
With the season on hold I think now would be a good time to back down memory lane with this thread. The idea is for people to post picture of all time great Calgary Flames in another teams jerseys that just looks weird whenever you look at it. As well to post pics of all time great players who had a short stint with the Flames to post pictures of them in a Flames jersey that also looks equally weird. Here are a few of my favorites.....or least favorites
All time greats in Flames jersey that few people outside of Calgary will remember

I still think Setoguchi in a Flames jersey looks really strange.

Steve Smith and Grant Fuhr played for the Flames. It just doesn't seem right even when typing this post.

Smith was OK for his age. Fuhr was horrible.
Speaking of Oilers:

On another thread, someone was asking for an All-Time Flames dream team line-up.
Mine was something like:
Brett Hull - Martin St Louis - Marc Savard
Anton Strahlman - Steve Smith
JS Giguere

Marc Savard is your greatest all time Flames centre??????
Joe who?
Gilmour?
Hell, i'd probably take Lindholm over Savard.

You may want to read the parameters first...

I have no clues as to who those goalies are unless if they are Reggie Lemelin, Mike Vernon, Kipper, and Ritter.

Players with less than a certain amount of games? Was it at any time of their career? If so, was this pre Jagr?

Good call on Jagr, let him play defense instead of Staios...

Savard was dope. Was a star in Boston. In terms of pure talent, maybe Iggy's best ever centre. Might consider Langkow or Conroy. That list is pretty underwhelming...mostly 2 way guys. Not sure people remember but Conroy was kind of an elite 2 way centre for a couple years. I remember he had a great season in LA after we didnt sign him after the lock out. I guess thats my glitch in the matrix. Conroy in a Kings jersey.

Eakins was actually a solid depth defenceman. Quite liked him during his stint here.

Well, how about this?
Here are all the jerseys I have of ex-Flames after they left the team.
The Otto and Titov ones were obtained particularly out of spite. Otto is my all-time favourite, and Titov was one of my favourites at that time.

Flashbacks to bumping up Otto to first line in 16 bit NHL. The guy had a f/o rating of like 95%. Pull the draw to big Al, pull the slapper. Ah, good times.

Vernon in a Sharks jersey is super weird to see.
Also seeing Bertuzzi in a Flames jersey was weird for me, even tho I thought he played well for us.

I have an Iggy Pittsburgh jersey. I'd rather it be a Boston jersey though.

Cammy in an Oilers sweater still pains me.
Versteeg in Edmonton also looks odd in retrospect.
As does this:
I do still think Lucic in Flames red looks a little odd. But I like it.
Mason Raymond didn't look right here, either.
