The Pens realize that Boedker is having an absolute horrible NHL season. However we need to increase our forward depth and I have had a soft spot for Boeds ever since he was drafted and have always liked him. Hopefully he can add some stability to our bottom 6 and we see some results in the standings.

Habs had three 1st round and nine 2nd round picks and do not intend on drafting that many players. We have been actively seeking roster players in exchange for some picks.
Gagner isn't one of our favorite players and still has the oilers stink on him, but he is having a good year in CBJ. He will get a pay bump but we have room to make it happen.
Thanks cheese for the fun and easy talks.

Vancouver had extra draft picks in the 2nd and 3rd round, decided to package those to upgrade our left wing depth (Beleskey) and get a young dman in Miller.
Thanks to Cheese for the easy negotiations.

Stalberg is definitely a rental, but I'm not giving up much for a guy who will play on my 4th line and improve my depth.

Cheese wanted to stockpile draft picks and I thought this was a good opportunity to acquire a very solid looking 2nd round prospect instead of picking a mid 2nd rounder in what seems to be a rather weak draft. Really like Mascherin and actually wanted to draft him last year but the Pens picked him a few spots earlier, so I'm happy to add him now.
Thanks Cheese. Quick and easy talks, as always!
