Also, of note about the ticket sales, they've opened up the little 300 bleachers to Ticketmaster at $15.75.

Yeah I guess it's a meaningless game, but it seems pretty crazy to have a team scheduled for two games so tight. And while I'm fine seeing the kids play, I just want to win every game!
And $16/ticket is a sweet deal!

It's disappointing that they couldn't move that game even one day to the 17th. An extra day's rest for the players, and a Saturday afternoon game would have been ideal for everyone.
Also, would it be so hard for CanPL to ease off on the Forge league-fixing a little? They are the second best team in the league, and they need to deal with that.

I choose to see this as an opportunity for Fireball...

Edmonton plays another game on the 19th as well, so that weekend is kind of jammed for both teams.
It is a bit disappointing that the league thinks that 2 matches in 3 days is fine for a professional club. I think that Cavalry's depth will help during that span.
The fall season isn't completely meaningless either. The winner of the fall season gets the choice of which leg of the final to have home field advantage.

I picked up a couple of tickets to the Montreal Impact game on the 14th. Excited to go down to Spruce Meadows for Cavalry FC for the first time.

Isn't the game in Halifax between the first and second legsvs MTL a bigger concern for fitness, rest and preparation, then the block heads from Edmonton after the second leg?

Just picked up two tickets. Looks like my old man and I might be the only supporters there. We will try our best to do the foot soldiers proud!

I was thinking of also going down for an actual CPL game, but disappointing to see no August weekend games at home. They do play against Edmonton on a Friday, but that is two days after the Impact match, and will probably not be the first squad.

Think there are a few supporters flying out for this one. You may not be alone!

There's seemingly no microphones in the stadium for Forge/Antigua. It's so odd just hearing the announcer.

Extending the decision on the racist comments made by Forge staff for yet another week (its 2 months now this weekend since the incident), as the darling franchise of the CPL cant have that hanging over its head for international matches.

Is there a discount for an annual subscription to One Soccer for season ticket holders? If so, how do I get that?

I wonder if Tommy and the boys are cooking up anything for a summer reinforcement. The packed August schedule is a bit concerning if there's any injuries picked up.

Cavalry confirm Dean Northover is out for the season with an ACL injury. Gutted for him. That's two RB's that have torn their ACL as well.
Wonder if Cavalry can bring in a fullback like Brett Levis on loan for the rest of the year?

That's a tough loss for the team.
