I don’t think doing acid would have helped enjoying that “match”

I got to the end of it, and I thought that someone had watched the Cannonball run too many times. It was almost like the writers just wanted to throw as many gags and off screen punches and kicks in as possible. It was bizarre and the gags weren't all that funny.

Even the serious part of it around the ladders weren't that great.

There's an old adage that I got from my english lit professor. The more complex the story the more unbelievable it is and the worse it gets.

I talk a lot about AEW overbooking things, but they're overbooking was nothing compared to this.

It was a skit, with a bizarre food fight in the middle.

At the end of the day, and I'm going to steal Verne's old saying, at the end of the day the Marquee says wrestling.

I think with the empty arena thing, the writers have forgotten that at the heart of it, wrestling or sports entertainment is simple. Its simply two people selling a grudge. You sell it by talking about it, then you get in the ring and fight. Simple. This shyte is too complex, and the writers are out clevering themselves.

But the whole card was shades of bad. There were some good matches, I was amazed that poor Tamina pulled out a decent effort and the opener was good. But I was bored by Rollins and Drew. The Bray versus Strowman was another over booked mess, and incredibly sloppy. On top of that as much as people want to pretend that wins or losses don't matter to his character. They really do, who wants to invest in following a character that doesn't win. Instead of the fiend you become Mr X.

WWE is entirely lost right now.

yeah that's what I thought. But they'll show up fine tomorrow because of logic.

To be fair, logic has shown in AJ that wwe truly is the land of the immortals

So them not showing up makes less sense

Yeah there's no purpose to him playing the briefcase for himself storyline wise. He's never going to be an upper card guy on his own.

He's actually kind of a bit annoying.

This does leave things in storyline flux unless they do that. Mandy should be heading into a feud with DeVille, Otis needs to finish with Dolph and get back to tag teaming.

That's actually hilarious.

But I think this is probably why Vince might want out. With social media he can really no longer control the messaging and storylines.

Sounds like The Man is pregnant and will be vacating her title tonight.

yeah, she won't be back for a good long time.

Kind of interesting way to switch the title, too bad that the match itself was so stupid.

The Woman's division has been laboring for a while, no pun intended, and Becky had become really stale for me.

Wondering if Snitsky is making a return.

I wouldn't put it past WWE to have some kind of bad taste fake pregnancy angle.

Fun fact Becky Lynch’s unborn child has more charisma then Lashley.

Becky is 33 and its likely that she's gone for a year, I also would think its likely that this is the last that we've seen of her in a full time capacity.

She basically has nothing to prove, she ended on top and she had an amazing run as the man.

And I have to say, damn Shayna was savage tonight on the mic

Natalya busting out "the miracle that is motherhood" line. Shayna: What do you know about motherhood? Not like you're ever going to have a kid...

Shayna Baszler says "How stupid do you have to be to get knocked up when you're champion?"

"Yeah, that kid is going to suck. You know who the father is? I rest my case." - Shayna Baszler

Also I had to laugh at the unintended hilarity of Seth coming out for his match looking like a guy who had a kid three weeks ago. I know that he was suppossed to be shaken to the core over his loss to Drew, but with the timing of his wife's announcement, he looked like a guy more shocked about learning he was going to be a dad, then happy.

I also wonder if Lana is reaching the end of the road, as she's pretty much been seperated from Lashley, and man she looked bizarre tonight, like she had applied the self tanner with a garden hose.

He could use it to cash in on the tag titles. It is for "A title shot" not just the big title.

The way they could do it is that Tucky gets jealous and says that Otis is getting to big for them and forgetting about him. As a way to make up to his best bud he cashes in for the tag titles.

Just a heads up, there is a local Calgary talent in AEW at the moment. Luther, who is actually in his early 50's, was born and raised in Cowtown, and started his career in Stampede Wrestling in the late 80's. He also was a formidable heel in FMW during the mid-90's. He's still actively wrestling in AEW.

Interesting too that he wasn't handed the job. He had to do multiple auditions for it.

This is a pretty neat connection considering younger, and more well-known talent trained in Calgary are out there today.

Luther was an awesome heel in his day. He also played a pretty key role in Jericho's first book.
