Thanks. I thought I missed a week when I saw 2 were available.
Really enjoyed them but it's dark. Pretty heavy storyline for a "kids" show.
Also visually really dark at times. Not sure what's up with that.
Its really not a kids show, it never was.
The bad batched was started with the execution of a Jedi and the attempted execution of a teenage jedi when one of their members was questioning the others on why they didn't kill the kid.

That TrooperX is tech. He broke that encryption in like 2 seconds. If you listen to him talk he sounds like Tech. And Omega leaving Tech's glasses at the museum was supreme foreshadowing.

Spoiler!
Yep, I totally agree that it's Tech. I thought there might be a reveal of some sort when Omega was getting ready to leave and left some of her belongings behind, which included Tech's broken glasses. Thought Trooper X might find them when they were searching for her.
Tales of the Jedi was a really fun series and filled in some of the holes between movies and TV series. Looking forward to seeing the Empire's stories in a similar way.
Damn that is great - is this the first confirmation that Bariss became an inquisitor?
There were rumors that Dave Filoni wanted to insert her into Rebels, after the slaughter on the Iquisitors.
Filoni even issued a hands off notice to the novel writers and they didn't mention her at all in the book Inquisitor which was one of the better books in the new EU.
All we knew is at the end of the Clone Wars season 5, she was likely headed to the Citadel . Then they showed the execution of her master in Rebels season 1 and that was it.
I kinda loved what they did with her, she had grown so disgusted with the Jedi and the war that she wanted to bring the Jedi Order down.
Quote:
"I did it. Because I've come to realize what many people in the Republic have come to realize. That the Jedi are the ones responsible for this war. That we've so lost our way that we have become villains in this conflict. That we are the ones that should be put on trial. All of us! And my attack on the Temple was an attack on what the Jedi have become. An army fighting for the dark side. Fallen from the light that we once held so dear. This Republic is failing! It's only a matter of time."―Barriss Offee's confession[10]
She hadn't fallen to the Dark Side, but I'm pretty sure that she wasn't a hard convert to the Inquisitors side of things. I mean you throw in a few lines about how you agree with her that the Jedi were the problem, that you are giving her the chance to bring justice to them, and then throw in a or else, and blammo you have an inquisitor.

I wonder if Vader will recognize her as the one who betrayed Ahsoka? If he does, will he hold it against her?
That's a great question.
I also wonder based on Barriss look when Vader walked in if she sensed he was Anakin. I mean Ahsoka knew right away who the mystery Sith was based on her reaction.
I doubt Vader himself will care all that much that she betrayed Ahsoka, Its weird that he might not trust her because she so fully betrayed the Jedi before the fall of the order.
But Anakin/Vader's loyalty to his friends was long gone.

That's a fun wrinkle to explore. Vader and Barriss Offee.
Anakin as he was would have given an eff and probably would have struck Offee down, Vader on the other hand, cannot recognize the ant under his boot.
Dunno why they'd give Offee an Inquisitor role, Anakin played with her like she was food in their duel when he arrested her. Not someone I'd want to go.hunt down the likes of Yoda and ObiWan

This is the thing though, these are interesting details that would lead out into a broader, wider Galaxy, and that would be interesting so Star Wars cant do that.
