Yeah Oilers fans must be freaking out seeing Pastrnak, Panarin, and MacKinnon getting Hart consideration over Draisaitl. Their little minds can’t comprehend the award is not based on points alone and that voters might actually consider other things like two way even strength play.

This is their moment. They only get the Draft Lottery and a Player Award.

Its all they have. That and the Majestic River Valley.

Would you deny that to them? Would you? Because I would. Easily.

Nothing would make me happier than seeing Oiler fans up in arms that their precious drysaddle did not win the Hart.

"He did it without McDavid on his line" is all I keep hearing

Yet majority PP points and guess who plays together on the PP. Its hilarious how butt hurt they get when someone dares name their player 2nd or 3rd best this season lol. And the league isn't fair to them because they have to beat a 12 seed to make the playoffs.

According to Dobber Sports:
  • 53.59% of his total ice time was with McDavid.
  • 70 of his 110 points were scored with McDavid on the ice.

So he's a 40 point player that's pretty good.

I almost want him to win it.

Alternating Hart trophy winners; still no playoffs.

I personally don't care if he wins or not as it's an individual award in a sport where the best team wins the cup. He's kind of polarizing as he's extremely productive playing with the top offensive player in the league but by himself I feel there are quite a few players that are better on their own as to me he's kind of a Kevin Stevens (before he busted his face) comparison.

Leon Draisaitl: Oilers fans who find out that voters are considering other Hart candidates have been known to get really defensive, so it’s nice to see that somebody associated with Draisaitl understands that concept.

A prerequisite for winning the Hart is you should have a heart.

A prerequisite for the Hart should be that you were the most valuable player on your own team.

I've always said that he's an exceptional player when he has McDavid, but an average player that can't really drive his own line and is a give away machine without McDavid.

Is he really earning his contract? That to me is debatable.

He is absolutely earning his contract and had an incredible offensive season, McDavid or no. Even with McDavid injured, he scored at an extremely high rate.

That being said, it's incredibly obvious to me that Panarin should win the Hart.

That's pretty funny. A minute long video to promote Edmonton that features one 3 second long shot of Edmonton.

Now that Edmonton has more active COVID cases than Calgary, we should swoop in with a last-minute bid and take it from them. At least, the players could actually see the mountains from Calgary.
