I let lyrics affect me. I also let lyrics raise my children. This is why rap music is a problem. But just rap music. All that other music is fine, for "reasons".

Since this thread is too far gone to salvage at this point, I just wanted to say that rap music is way more diverse than some people give it credit for. Not all of it is homophobic and misogynist. I think it's fine to call out artists that do glorify things like that, but not really fair to paint the whole genre with that brush.
It's a little troubling that homophobia and misogyny seems to be more lucrative, but those things don't exist because of rap music. They are in rap music because they exist. It's a reflection of a much larger issue.

If I was a parent in the 90s, I would never have let my children hear the songs of Alan Jackson like my parents did.
Imagine letting young impressionable children grow up wanting to buy a Mercury or think that the opposite sex somehow finds one alluring. It's filling their heads with lies!

How many kids have to drown in the Chattahoochee before we finally accept the menace that Alan Jackson is?

For years I felt that wearing a grapefruit like a hat was what separated good parties from great parties. Well that and drinking till I blacked out.

When Prince Charles becomes King, does Camilla get the title of Queen? Likewise does Kate Middleton become Queen?
Or are they doomed to the same fate as Phillip and remain princesses forever?

They get the title Queen Consort, at least by tradition.

I believe you need to be "born into the title" so yeah, Camilla won't be Queen and Katie won't be Queen.

Is there a coronation? If so, can they choose "X Gon Give It to Ya" as their entrance music?

The worst part about Prince Philip's death is that now I have a bunch of Ja Rule songs stuck in my head.

The wife always get the title of their husband, but the husband usually does not if the title belongs to the wife.

Stick it in
Rip the skin
Carve and twist
Torn flesh
From behind
I cut her crotch
In her ass I stuck my ####
Killing as I cum
Good old metal, always appropriate
