Lots of ex-Panthers on the Knights. Hard not to cheer for them a little. Marchessault, Reilly Smith, Gerard Gallant.

I was kind of hoping Vegas would go all Hartley and start a line brawl on the opening face off.

Tom Rowe dropped a nuke on that team in such a short amount of time. I don't even know what he was thinking.

As I expected, Gallant has these guys prepared to play. Even if the talent is mediocre, Gallant will get a lot out of these guys.
Still pissed that he was fired last year. Such a dumb move.

Good call on scheduling Arizona as the home opener instead of the Kings. A natural rival but it guarantees no opposition fans in the building.

Tom Rowe was a patsy. It was the owner Vinnie Viola who got far too involved in hockey operations. He kicked Talon out of his job, installed Rowe as a mouthpiece for him, trusted advanced stats guys to do the work of a seasoned GM, and then fired Gallant when the team didn't come out on fire in the first 15-20 games.
Viola learned his lesson. He put Talon back in charge and he backed far, far away from operations.
Vegas goal!!! Nosek! .....Never heard of him!

They replaced all the board advertising with Vegas Strong. Such a sad week. No explanation possible.
But there's the first goal! Nice!!

Nashville ties it late on a 6-on-3 with the empty net, Philly is challenging for an offside.
Huge moment.

I'm sure the momentum will wear off for the Knights, but they won't be an easy out at all. Gallant is a very good coach. Teams will need to be sharp to beat these guys.
LOL! Engy!!!!! OMG, so fitting!
