Good to see Richards on the bench - he has been awful this year IMO

Stamps add Marcell Frazier (defensive lineman) to the practice roster and release Tay Glover-Wright.

I don't think we're going to see Daniels in the last two regular season games, but this is encouraging news at least...

I imagine he can run around fine and even catch balls. The question is when he’s able to take a hit. He’s been missed as he’s been a good red zone target for Bo.

Is there any faint hope that Roy Finch could return to the team for the playoffs?

I seriously doubt DD would bring him back....when Finch was suspended last year for a couple games, Dickenson was almost willing to cut him then. He doesn't like stupid/bad character guys.

Besides, this teams issues start and stop along the O-line and at wideout...he doesnt help either of those spots.

Good news though is that Spencer Wilson should be able to go Friday and its pretty clear Daniels will be back IMO for next weeks game.

Im just not sure that will be enough for any of the 3 teams they could face if they get to the West final as all 3 of those clubs are playing quite well of late.

I think the Bombers are the weakest of them all and we should get a gauge on things this week.

Position chart for Friday's name game against the Bombers is below - Biggest absence is Tre Roberson who is had a fine rookie season in the Stamps secondary.

As he should. He will regret not giving it a shot. I’m certain that is the advice he is getting from hufnagel and DD.

Just another reason why this is an important season for the stamps

I don't blame him for trying but I doubt he ever gets into a situation where he's a starter in the NFL. Hopefully he go out with a Grey Cup, but not very confident with that either.

I don't doubt that he'll take that shot. Every football player in the States wants that shot at the NFL.

I have my doubts about his ability to crack an NHL lineup. His arm strength is ok but not great, he's not a tall QB, and not all that mobile.

But why not take the shot at getting paid in US dollars as a backup and trying to get that NFL pension.

I don't doubt that there is going to be a mass changing of the guard in the CFL as far as QB's go. I doubt Reilly resigns with Edmonton.

With the Stamps loss, Esks are out.
This is the CFL, its it is not how you start, it's how you finish, like Stamps fans need to be told that after 6 bad minutes combined in the last 2 GCS to lose both. Or the 2001 Stamps.

Nope. Choking and underachieving has always been the way in Calgary sports. Stampeders season isn't over but they are dangerously teetering on the edge of collapse. We will learn a lot in the coming weeks about the resolve of this team and coaching staff as they deal with some adversity for once.

While it's true that the last two years have had very disappointing endings, this past decade with Huff at the helm has been very good. As a fan, all you can ask for is a chance at the championship every year and in my opinion, Huff and DD have delivered. As far as calling plays are concerned, DD has me scratching my head at times as well, but a career coaching record of 40-11-2 has me thinking he has a pretty good grasp on things.

I posted this in another thread. I like to think my sports fan experience has hardened me to the point where a 9-1 loss, or losing three in a row, is no big deal...

Tough weekend to be a stamps fan. But I’d rather live it now than in late November. Surely this team knows that only November counts.
