Byron Monahan Hudler sounds amazing to me.
Especially against the Wings, who more or less play a similar style to the Flames and have struggled at home all season. Could bode well for some success tonight. Our size showed against Boston, but tonight we can hopefully put some offense on display.

Monahan has fallen to 8th in rookie scoring. He only has 27 games though, all but one of the players ahead of him have 32 or more.
He needs to have a big night to get back up there.

Yeah but look at the teams those guys are on, most are way better than Calgary. Gonna be near impossible for him to catchup when our 4th line is the most impactful.

Backlund has been under the microscope because during the years around his draft the Flames had no other real prospects so expectations were too high for backlund to step in right from the get go.
I jsut with Backlund would shoot more, his wrist shot is so heavy. Under rated.
