Mind boggled.

Ramo's Raven masks were works of art. This is not.

In retrospect, Ramo was probably the wrong comparison. What I enjoy about Neuvirth's helmet though is that I think it'll also look great with their away uniforms. Tough to fully judge until you see him in full uniform. Ramo's looked excellent, if not better when we played on the road because of the greyish base that most of his designs had.

Far worse masks on this thread either way. Primarily Smith's

Ramo definitely had the best collection of masks I've ever seen in the NHL. Just gorgeous, and appropriately metal given his Finnish nationality!

Dare I say, even fabulous?

PS I think he ended up having to cover up the "blood smeared" Ramo on the chin of the first mask Otto-matic posted... apparently too edgy for the league.

I didn't even notice that, good eyes! They def made it look less gory. Also love that he had touches of the Flames retro colors in his mask.

NSFW!

I was a big fan of his very first mask as well, not as good as his Raven masks but still up there.

He may occupy atleast 3/4 spots in the top 10 flames masks of all time.

What a well designed, attractive, and respectful homage.

I appreciate Smith likes to have his kids put on his masks, but I find the style they're depicted in is creepy more than cute.

They look like boardwalk caricatures of the Children of the Corn.
