One 'playoff' game last weekend - Florida-Georgia. I would say three playoff games this coming weekend - Alabama-LSU, Kentucky-Georgia, and Texas-West Virginia. Losers of these games (maybe Alabama excepted) can kiss their chances goodbye for playoff bid.

Don't you think Texas is already done? Loses to Maryland and Oklahoma State far overshadow a win over Oklahoma.

Syracuse looks New Year's Six bound. Dino Babers has done a great job with that program.
It's also the first meaningful November game they have won since 2013.

Yeah, they are banged up on D and weren't great to start with. Kyler Murray is so damn fun to watch and capable of carrying the Sooners to a win with that offense though. Should be a great game

They're certainly vulnerable on D, the question is can you score more than they will? West Virginia is capable, but you still probably need to put up 40+ points to beat them.
That Texas - West Virginia game was a blast to watch, and the late TD was probably one of the nicest throws you will ever see - pro or college. They don't get much better than that one was. And to go for two took guts, but was the right call as they had to win that game.
Not much changed in the playoff picture I think, except that LSU is done. The rest of the top 7-8 still have a chance but everyone (save Bama) pretty much need to run the table to have a consideration.
