He's perfectly free to express a lack of tolerance for a set of beliefs... for no better reason than because it's a set of beliefs. Beliefs don't have rights.

In this case it was a drive by comment that has now resulted in a full page of nonsense because [T@T]people get really sensitive about their imaginary friend [/T@T]

Well, no, he's right. I am being intolerant of a group of people, it's just not the group of people he thinks. I'm being totally intolerant and dismissive of Fox News viewers.

Who are overwhelmingly Christian, and whose expressions of wrath and lack of charity run contrary to what one thinks of as "Christian values", at least as they're generally characterized by Christians. I get it; I explained the joke in response to Psycnet's decision to elbow drop my brain because it seemed as though people were struggling with it (for some reason).

I'm just saying, if you wanted to express intolerance for Christian beliefs - e.g. that people can be born of virgins, or that people should suffer eternal punishment for thought crimes like coveting their neighbour's wife - there would be nothing at all objectionable about you doing so.

I'd say the majority align with spite, rage, hatred, and bigotry, which are not what I consider to be Christian values, and that was my point. These people self-identify as Christians but do not act in very Christian-like ways. I mean, Christ, if anything the joke is almost complimentary of Christian values.

EDIT: CHL gets it.

So what you are saying is a little context might be of some use?

I see this thread has devolved into another reason I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

Okay, maybe a little harsh, but I hate opening up a thread with lots of updates, only to be disappointed that its been hijacked by a religious or political debate.

EDIT: I can't tell if my hashtag post trolled 2StonedBird simply but effectively, or if now he's trolling me.

So by doing the same thing to the 'other side' you think you're cancelling those idiots out? You're not. You're just contributing to the idiocy.

Where exactly was that said or even implied?

Following the courtroom twitter feed from the Tim Bosma trial - one of the co-accused is testifying in his own defense today. Absolutely chilling and heartbreaking.

No reason for what they did.

George Zimmerman is auctioning off the gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin...

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/george-...tion-1.3578581

Quote:
The auction listing on GunBroker.com lists the gun as a 9 mm Kel-Tec PF-9 pistol. The auction begins Thursday at 11 a.m. ET and the bidding starts at $5,000.

Zimmerman described the weapon as "a piece of American history," according to the website.

The auction listing also says a portion of the proceeds will go toward fighting against violence by the Black Lives Matter movement against law enforcement, combating anti-gun rhetoric of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and ending the career of Angela Corey, who led the prosecution against him.

I wish I could say I was joking saying this, but doesn't Zimmerman seem like the perfect VP for Trump? They both have top notch troll games, it'd be a ticket for the ages to watch them troll the entire country for 4 months straight.
