On paper, this sounds great, but who do they trade with? I don't know if there is a team who would take Kipper for a potential top 5-10 pick.

Doesn't sound good for Mitch Wahl. Aaron Volpatti with a shoulder on shoulder hit. Currently beening carried off the ice on a strecher.

I live only a few blocks away from the arena, and I heard the ambulance within minutes after Wahl got hit (I was listening to the game on the radio). Sure hope he's okay. He gave the fans a thumbs up while he was on the stretcher and Dave Sheldon said he was conscious once he arrived at the hospital.

Just got home from the Heat game. Wahl took what appeared to be a nasty, nasty hit. I say "appeared" because I didn't see it - I was following the play. He had the puck moments before he was laying concussed on the ice, which leads me to assume the hit was late or late-ish at the least. Didn't see any replays at the rink.

On positive notes: Irving was great tonight. No chance on either goal. Nemisz really impressed me as well.

10 games????? Where do you get your information before the league has even ruled on a suspension?

Did you see the incident? How do you know specifically it is 10 games?

I watched the game and I do not recall Oreskovich missing a single shift after the incident. If he was carried off or drew blood I could see a lengthy suspension but 10 games I would truly be suprised.

It looked like the blood came from Wahl's head hitting the ice. There was no blood coming from his face, and he was down with the side of his head on the ice for quite some time. The hit might have been shoulder to shoulder, but it doesn't mean it was necessarily totally clean.

Sportsnet had cameras there, so it should be on the AM highlight packages.

The spearing wast even that bad. The officiating that game was a joke.

Didn't see the Wahl hit but I heard that he got pretty messed up.
