You moved your goalposts. I said the statement that he would never have an NHL career was painfully stupid, the fact you were back tracking so quickly just proves my point.

Fair enough. I am guilty of imprecise language in my first post, but your complaints rather detract from what I think are the primary points here: that 1) Gillies's time in the Flames organization is likely done, and 2) that he probably tops-out as a NHL backup goalie.
