Live rankings has Felix up to #30 with today's win, if he can pull off a win against Zverev on Wednesday, it would pretty much lock up a seed for the French Open.

You're correct, it would put him in 27th, ahead of Carreno Busta and Tiafoe. But it's pretty unlikely. Which is unfortunate, because it seems insane to go from a match against the 77th ranked player in the world to a match the 3rd ranked player in the world the following round with nothing in between.
For comparison's sake, Gilles Simon, ranked four spots ahead of Felix, gets to play 18th ranked Fabio Fognini. Wawrinka - ranked just below Felix - is currently playing Cecchinato, the 16th ranked player in the world. Fucsovics, ranked spots below Felix, gets 48th ranked Cameron Norrie, and lest you think that's only because of an upset, had Norrie lost his last match, Fuscovics would have played 56th ranked Mannarino. 42nd ranked Radu Albot gets 14th ranked Medvedev. Those are generally tough matches, sure, but they're decidedly winnable for all of those players and certainly for Felix.
Sometimes the draw just seems really unfair. Granted, Felix isn't the only person to be affected by this, but it's really frustrating.

Speaking of Wawrinka, he bageled Cecchinato (Stan won the first 8 games of the match), but the Italian roars back to win the match 0-6 7-5 6-3.

I officially joined the Z = NG bandwagon this spring. that #3 ranking is 100% fraud city, based on who's been able to put Zverev down so far this season. I expect Felix to teach him a thing or two about what the true NextGen is about.

Felix goes down to Zverev in straight sets, however Nadal rolls 6-1,6-1. This is a start to a great sports day for me having Nadal & the Flames both winning big.

I did watch the first set of Felix - Zverev and it was a combination of Zverev playing great and Felix playing badly. Haven't seen the second set yet.

One result that should make Girly happy is PHH ousting Nishikori in straight sets 7-5 6-4

Some upsets in Monte Carlo today:
Dusan Lajovic over Dominic Thiem 6-3 6-3
Medvedev defeats Tsitsipas 6-2 1-6 6-4
Fognini ousts Zverev 7-6(6) 6-1
Both Joker and Nadal won their matches in relatively easy fashion today.

It's too bad FAA played poorly cause Zverev is truly a fraud.
And Nishikori just struggles at the beginning of tournaments.
He was the Monte Carlo finalist last year so that -510 points.

Hands up if you had Medvedev - Lajovic as a Monte Carlo semi-final. Nadal will play the winnder of Coric - Fognini (looks like it will be Coric) in the other semi-final on Saturday.

Coric was up 6-1 2-0 and appeared to be cruising to victory. Now he finds himself in a 3rd set and Fabio has all the momentum.

Yeah because his serve is garbage. Fabio up 2-0 in the 3rd.

Rafa - Fabio will be an interesting semi-final as I'm not sure who the crowd will be pulling for. Fognini has a large fan base in Monte Carlo.

Pella played really well today, if he wasn't playing Rafa he probably wins. Quest for 12 goes on!
