I said shades. Would "shades of Joe Colborne in that one third period of the playoffs against the Canucks" be more apt?

Jankowski is gonna be so good. 6'4" Backlund. So shifty, and so intelligent and skilled.

Latta. For some reason Bissonette wanted to fight Poirier. Bollig steps in to deter Bissonette, Poirier ends up with Latta.

Stockton's game in Tucson will be broadcast on The Fan 960 tonight. It starts at 7. Tucson has been responsible for 3 of Stockton's 5 losses this season, and Stockton is missing Jankowski and Shinkaruk now so we might be in for a rough night.

Yeah, Tucson has the best win percentage in the entire AHL so far at 0.818

Not going to be an easy night against a team that has already handled the Heat all season.

Tuscon has had their last 3 games postponed I believe, so they have been sitting for quite some time due to the terrible circumstances surrounding Cunningham. The Heat need to jump on them early before they get their legs.

If we want a good narrative, we can point to Tucson being one of the worst teams at 5 on 5 in the AHL with only a 45% goal differential. Stockton has been among the best in the league at 58%. Tucson has been incredible at all strengths other than 5v5 though (16 power play goals for in only 11 games, goddamn, can we hire their PP guy?), so if Stockton can stay out of the box tonight I think they'll have a very good chance to win.

Rasmus Andersson scores! 2-2! His first goal of the season. 5 minutes left in the 2nd. And now Heat to the PP.

Aagaard got his first of the season in the first period as well.

The Heat are playing Tucson again today and they are leading 2-1 towards the end of the first. Goals came from Lomberg (Poirier) and Vey (Frattin, Mangiapane / PP). Gillies is in net again and has 9 saves so far.

Perlini ties it. It's 2-2 after 20, shots are 15 to 11 in favor of Stockton.

Bollig puts the Heat ahead 3-2. Now has 5 goals in the AHL and ties for team lead with Mangipane and ... Klimchuk? edit: and Vey as well.
