Picked up Prince of Persia: The Last Crown today (borrowed from the library). Feels kind-of old school. Enjoying it so far.

I played about an hour of the test, managed to beat the first boss which is the end, and then I uninstalled it. Not because I didn't like it, but because the little I played is so good I don't want to get burned out on it before getting to play the full thing. The basics from the first game are all there, and the additions look like they'll change things up quite a bit so that it's still a fresh experience. Really looking forward to the full early access now

A buddy has been telling me to try Factorio for years. I tried Factorio, and now I really wish I hadn't.

It might be the perfect video game for me and I can't underestimate how much I didn't need this in my life. I've had dreams about Factorio strategy for what feels like 4 nights in a row and I need somebody to make it stop.

Yeah that's why I had to cheat in Stardew Valley, so I'd lose interest and stop playing.

For me the game naturally gets to a point where everything is pretty much automated and you don't need to upgrade anything. That's when I usually call it quits. That takes about 100 hours though. I'm about 60 hours into my latest farm and I think there's still lots of new things to discover with the 1.6 update.

When I'm done I'll be moving onto Rimworld's Anomaly expansion. That's a game that's hard to quit.

If you're into mods for games at all, Krastorio is a great one for Factorio.

Dammit now I want to play again. There goes the weekend.

Finished FF7 Rebirth last weekend. What a wild ride. I loved exploring all the big regions and the added character building, but all the minigames did get to be too much by the end. Those mini games ranged from super fun (Queens Blood, Chocobo Racing) to real annoying (Cait Sith's box throwing, Fort Condor).

Sounds like the ending has some people pretty divided, but I still really enjoyed it. Overall (with my Final Fantasy fanboy glasses on), I'd say Rebirth is probably in the top 10 of overall game experiences I've ever had.

Yup. We call it Cracktorio for a reason. So good. Surely I can stop whenever I want, I just don't want too

Factorio is an interesting animal. They don't believe in sales, have never changed the price.

Rimworld is the same, the few sales they have participated in have just been a few %.

I was just going to say I bought it recently on sale but realized I bought Satisfactory which is similar I guess. Haven't been able to get much time into it yet.

Finished my PC playthrough of Elden Ring so i'm ready for the DLC, I'm sure I will do a couple more runs before then but at 45hours I will probably just hold off and work on other games.

Speaking of other games I decided I need to playthrough Fallout like many, I had them in my library but never played them. Fallout 3 seems like an awesome game but after losing progress multiple times to crashing I gave up, and Fallout 4 seemed like a bit too much busy work with Sanctuary and it causes my PC to run really hot for some reason, ended up with a glitch that caused the screen to go all white with god rays and tearing, rebooting, fast travelling etc would not fix it so I had to reload an earlier save and lost progress so moving on to Bioshock instead which I still have't played.

I got a Steam Deck OLED so I guess I'm (sort of) a PC gamer now. I grabbed Death Must Die and Minishoot' Adventures, and also playing the new Stardew Valley update that's not on consoles yet -- it's mostly going to be an indies and occasional lower requirement AAA machine for me, really happy with it so far. The screen is huge!
