2023 SuperMotocross Championship
Any Supercross watchers here? New season and a new format as the Supercross and Motocross combined for a 10 million dollar overall championship.
Tonight the Supercross series starts in Anaheim 1 and should be a good season, a lot of good storylines.
450
- Will most likely be 2022 Supercross and Motocross Champion Yamaha's Eli Tomac's last season as he's been talking about retirement.
- This season Roczen is no longer with Honda, as he's back riding Suzuki (what he started out on and grew up on).
- Christian Craig's first full season on a 450.
- Honda's Chase Sexton #23 and 23yo is believed to be the next up and comer and he finished strong last season as he was 2nd in outdoors.
- Jason Anderson is starting his second year with Kawasaki and is expected to make some noise this season.
- KTM's Marvin Musquin is only signed through part of the season and finished first today in qualifying.
- KTM's 2021 Supercross Champion Cooper Webb didn't win at all last year as he struggled with injuries, but he is healthy and ready to race.
250
- Honda has Jett Lawrence who is expected to win the 250's but he will be pushed
- Team Kawasaki has Forkner and McAdoo that will win some races this season
- RJ Hampshire is supposed to be healthy this year and is always fast if he can stay healthy
- Enzo Lopes is a rider I don't know much about, but he looked incredible in qualifying.
I'm a Honda guy, so I'm picking Lawrence in the 250s and Sexton in the 450s
