I thought the same thing. Now he’s catapulted to the top of my favourite players.
He also pulled the Blues into the handshake line. Seems like a really good dude.

I'm still mad that Feaster traded Bouwmeester for nothing and a year early.

Sammy Blais reminds me of Milton from Office Space when he talks.

Wasn't the guy basically just a passenger on every team he's been on?
JayBo is basically living the free rider life style. Overpaid his entire career. Always overrated so finds himself invited to top events. Gets paid millions in part due to his iron Man streak that stems from lack of intensity.

When you are consistently “over rated” by professional hockey minds, maybe you’re just good.

GullFoss has to be joking/trolling.
I've never witnessed the captain pass the cup to anyone the team didn't like, respect and earn it.

Happy for the Blues. Great uniforms, great sports town and seem like a likable group of guys.
And huge congrats to JayBo. Don’t know how you can hold a grudge against that guy.

Jaybo never put Calgary over the top, but was always a pro, never threw anyone under the bus, never bad mouthed anyone or the organization when he left...
sometimes players don't work out.
Glad to see him win a Cup

12th Canadian to do it, 29th player overall.
That's really great, it's not easy to do...Hardly makes him one of the most decorated and accomplished players in hockey history. That's hyperbole to the ludicrous degree. No CHL title, no Memorial Cup, no World Junior gold, other guys have done one of those things multiple times. Sidney Crosby has three times the cup wins, two Olympic medals, a World Junior gold, and individual awards up the wazoo.
Again, amazing for Bouwmeester to have those three things, and I have no ill will towards him in regards to him time in Calgary.. but one of the most decorated, most accomplished players in hockey history? No sir.
