Trade deadline RAPIDLY approaching!
Like fast, real fast! Like in just over a week.
So what are your plans as a GM? Are you going for it, or are you a seller? Not seeing much action here and this is a great time for sellers to jump in and gain some assets for fillers. No sense hanging on to players you might lose to UFA, trade them off if you can.
Time to wake up....

Cheese doing his best slap chop video impression. I think buyers want sellers to dump their players for dirt cheap so they can go on to have fun.

Capitals won't sell if we cant get the prices we are looking for. A 4th round pick isnt going to change our franchise but a 3rd might lol. Will update the block as things shake out.

I would like to sell Giordano (9M) + 7 M in Cheese.
He is currently injured (2 weeks) but would be available for playoffs.
I am looking for RFA aged guys for next season or futures.
I also have a lot of depth pieces that can move if needed, including in net.

I'm open to adding more for a long (hopefully) run into the postseason but probably not actively chasing anyone down.
I recently brought in Atkinson to play in the top 6 and Stralman just came off the injured list after being sidelined for 9 weeks so he is essentially a new addition to the defense. We also added a new backup goaltender a week or so ago.
If you are new to the CPHL, I recommend loading up now. Depth can become a real issue in the postseason.

Anyone want a very reasonably priced starting goalie in Robin Lehner? Locked up at $5.25 and not a good time to try and trade him but MAF is the guy I’m gonna run with right now.
Any offer for Lehner needs to involve a 1st so if that’s not in the offer don’t bother.

Im holding tight right now. Have some injuries that will come back soon and will help on the back, and already made a big forward acquisition with futures. Need the team to keep gelling and building momentum towards the playoffs and dont want to upset the balance!
Might be interested in a heavy but skilled 4th liner but not really too motivated to look into it!

I am open for business, cap space for those teams that are close and have a deal in mind and need help. Draft picks including 2 firsts. Most of my vets. can all be had for a playoff based teams. I'm looking at next year and my roster. I need RWers, I'd like to add to my blueline, and maybe goaltending (ha ha everthing). I'm also willing to move some prospects for space going into the draft.

Habs picked up veteran C Nic Dowd for a 2022 3rd. He fit the bill of a solid veteran depth player heading down the stretch and hopefully in the playoffs.
We have a couple later picks that we will be throwing out to try and add depth. I don't expect any more blockbusters as our team is playing well, but I wont rule anything out.

Will be working all day tomorrow, so I'll have access if anyone wants to chat.
Still looking at draft pick consolidation, or finding ways to move up the draft, and still have some vets in need of moving.

Kings are proudly sitting on a trade block that will likely remain unused, as the plan of staying within 4 points of 8th place will keep us embalmed in a sarcophagus of immobility right through the trade deadline.

Gallagher lost his spot in the lineup during his longterm
Our plan is to keep him for playoff depth. However, I would consider trading him for good future assets if I liked the offer.

No real need to add anything, team is playing well
We have depth...….Always open to ideas
Sami Vatanen is not playing currently and is my 7th dman. Would be open to move him
John Marino is healing quicker than expected, but is still a long shot to be ready by playoffs

The trade deadline is only approaching the Capitals 1 day at a time. Not rapid enough.

meh, guess I don't have much that's interesting.
If anyone wants to talk about anything in my lineup, here I am.
Also remember I have a lot of picks including 2 first round picks (1 coming from the Islanders) and prospects for rebuilding teams as I want to start putting things in place for next year.
